Is there cake still left?

If you answered yes, then you still have work to do.

It is a science fact that it is impossible to have eaten 'too much' cake. Although if you throw up/shat your pants you may want to take five minutes to have a break and a glass of water 🙂

Same rule as beer: never exceed your bodyweight.

As much as you like it wont alter your species.

I would say somewhere between 3 & 5 slices counts as gluttony though depending on slice size and miles riddn.

If it's a one-off, you could eat the whole damn cake and it won't do you a jot of harm.

That's the reasoning I used at lunch time (3000 calories of the Golden Arches finest). Seem to use that reasoning a lot 😕

3000 calories of the Golden Arches finest

😯

that's more than I eat in 2 days! if it weren't for the beer and the lack of exercise, I might even be "just" overweight

No no no. Lemon drizzle cake is an abomination. Lemon and desserts don't mix, aside from the notable pancakes exception. And lemon in a cake...? What? What? Just say no.

Ps if it's any other kind of cake I'm with the others - there is no upper limit.

Has the breeze of insanity taken you spudly?

Tarte au citron?
Lemon meringue pie?
Lemon cheesecake?

All lemony,, all puddings, all delicious!

As long as there is some left, even just a sliver, then you are not a pig as you haven't eaten all the cake. Though do you really care?

Edit: even better if you can find someone else to have that final sliver, then you can say you SHARED the cake 🙂

Double edit: having a similar dilemma with a big bag of pistachios!
