The electric kind.

I have an old radiogram that makes a nice thunk when turned on.

So... about 3?

Just one 12AX7.Used to have 5 12AX7s and I think 4 6L6s in my Trace head and another 2 12AX7s in my V Twin but that was all fairly ridiculous considering I'm shit at guitarring, so now just the onei in a vox valvestate.

Lots in the Messa Boogie... quite a few more in the Peavy... a few in the Blackstar... and I even have a Fatman amp somewhere with a few more in.

So quite a lot I would think!

That'd be 5 in the fender hrdlx, 3 in the black star, 2in the english muffin, 3 in the fatman and 2 up me wiggler. That's 15 + spares. Do I win?

None whatsoever in my house, however I did once work at a factory that made valves during the 2nd WW, I also remember learning the cathode auto bias spiel for my part two electrical engineering training in the RN and went on to never ever work on any valve equipment.

Same here. They're definitely the electric kind as I've replaced microswitches in one of them.

I have 4 I believe - in a hughes & kettner 20th Anniversary combo. I don't have any electric guitars anymore. Maybe I'll sell it some day...
