I'm surprised you've been so bold as to post, as I didn't think there were that many of us 'out'. I have a conviction for keeping some gloves in a goat, but a horse is a different matter altogether....

I'd keep it low key though, the RSPCA went mad. Just accessing the forum on www.clothinginanimals.com would be a better plan...

There does appear to be a significant minority within STW who like asking random questions, there also appears to be a group of people who can't google or make basic adult decisions for themselves.

Dunno whether this requires a new thread or just a Venn diagram

Edit: FRO iPhone autocorrect, venn is actually a word why would you assume I meant to write Ben?

My horse died I wanted to post it in the classifieds but it's against the rules as you can't flog a dead horse.

Don't have a horse. However do have a friend whose dog likes to eat socks. I'll check with him how many are currently passing thru.

Bullheart - you've got to be kidding? Perhaps the issue should have been handled more carefully?

I don't have a horse, but I have a horse box I use as a glove box, with a little compartment for socks (3).

They'd be better for gloves I'd have thought, there was a horse on TV the other day and discussing it they said something about sixteen hands.

Well, Venn isn't a common word, and is unlikely to be in your phone's lexicon; my iPad didn't try to auto-correct it, but then Ben isn't a word that occurs very often either, it did suggest benefits as the word I really meant, though.
And as regards the socks question, the answer is 'lots'. No horse, though.
My sister-in-law has two, though, so I could ask her how many socks they have.

Did you meant hearse rather than horse? They do sound very similar and it would make a load more sense.

I took in thirteen pairs of socks from the washing line earlier, I've just bought five new pairs from M&S to replace some that are getting a bit thin in places, and so I might need a horse-drawn hearse for the hose with the holes.
