Just clipped my toe again when walking up the stairs which made me wince ( https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/well-that-hurt-more-than-it-should-warning-minor-injury-photo/)

I crawled the rest of the way up stairs to here on my hands and knees only to be reminded that I had previously knelt on Tommy's lego so my knee hurt more that it should.

Rubbing my head reminded me of the bruise from the bedside cabinet ( https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/anyone-fall-out-of-bed-while-asleep/) and the big bruise on my calf from the dresser drawer handle.

To top it off, I put my bloody reading glasses on to post this, pushed them up my nose only to find that one of the rubber nose pieces has fallen off and I have a bit cut up one side of my nose pissing blood onto the keyboard.

Do I stay here or risk a trip across the hallway to bed?

Happy Friday!!!

Fusion is actually really good after the 6th operation. I managed to smash my big toe backwards and sideways about 2 inches in one crash and I bent the right crank arm backwards and sideways so it was stuck under the bottom bracket and couldn't rotate. Both without destroying the integrity of the fusion.

During the various scans and x-rays the Dr did let slip that he was surprised but pleased to see someone testing the boundaries of what was possible with this level of injury.

I take that as encouragement to continue, right?

Lol, the title drew me in.

I'm resigned to accumulating more pains/injuries than I used to (annoying as im only a bimbler!)... That said I seem to have outdone myself this year to the point that I'm starting to reevaluate my riding priorities I think.

Heal fast op.👍

Do we need to send you an industrial sized roll of bubble wrap and a hard hat?

Your user name really isn't an understatement is it!

My username was appropriate when I did big stuff like snapping my foot off or hanging by my broken leg over a 200 foot drop. Both of those were properly world class contenders.

Since then I have done lots of silly little accidents. I think the stage dive into a crowd of one 12 year old, who step aside, or my cliff dive which ended 18 feet lower face planted into cliff are the closest I have come to extreme since the ankle back in 2012.
