tldr - I had my heart set on that bike and now they can't even issue a refund in a timely manner.
Longer
Stock showing online on Monday so I order.
Email later that day to say item is no longer available and a refund will be issued (PayPal).
3 days later, no sign of the refund.
1. Yes, these are difficult times, I get that.
2. Yes, stock control/online shops are second only to rocket surgery to get right; and
3. Yes, it is only 3 days, zip up my man suit princess etc.
BUT this is the internet and I want the refund to buy from another place before they sell out too.
Shirley issuing a refund online should take less than a minute to do, and if you can spend the time to write an email telling me I'm not getting it, they could spend the extra few seconds immediately after issuing the refund?
4. Yes, I have picked up the phone - no one is answering the phones.
5. Yes, I have emailed them - no one is replying to emails (edit - actually someone has replied to my email đŸ™‚ )
6. Yes I have raised a dispute with PayPal but I may have to wait until 27 May for it to be resolved through them.
Defo a 1st world problem, and I have actually ordered a replacement, but is issuing a refund really too difficult to do at the time you realise you can't deliver.
Sharpen up the pitch forks (even if they are directed at me đŸ˜‰ )
It’s up to 30 days when paying with PayPal.
PayPal are very slow in refunding, I purchased something from Pinkbike without fully reading the description, once I realised my error I contacted the seller who very graciously refunded the same day but it still took 7 days to hit my account!
