Enjoying the snow?
Crashing out in front of the fire?
Lightly frosted?

C'mon, lets see them mutts! 😉

No pics but our cocker spaniel loves the snow.Only problem is that the feathery bits of her coat ball up with snow after a wee while, need to keep stopping her and trying to break them up, which is no mean task if you know spaniels

My Springer loves the snow .
But as above snow balls up on his fur after a while ...I spray his feet with olive oil which stops it on his feet but I don't think he would like to be dipped in the stuff .

No woofy-dogs @ chez Rob but...

Queenie-Bumbles is snoozing on the bed having shared my chips.

MacCavity is in the kitchen - not ours (he's a mystery cat), but tends to live under a bush in the garden, coming in for biscuits when peckish.

Puddy is in the shed. Also not ours; primary residence is next door, yet seems to prefer lounging on my bike bag, even through Winter.

I could be a mad cat lady, no problem.

Gorgeous puppy rockhopper, we came very close to getting one too but the Missus was all for a rescue dog which we pick up next week, can't wait, even more exciting than getting a new bike.

Dotty loves it. We've always given her the occasional ice cube as a treat, so snow is like a dream come true for her.
Tires her out nicely too.

It just make him very itchy nothing worse, we have steroids always in stock and on repeat prescription so in the summer we give him them regular.

Huxley couldn't work out why the step down out of the back-door had been removed this morning. One paw extended carefully to check how the new surface behaved and then out. Pics later.

is how Reilly is dealling with the inclement weather. He loves snow but here in Portsmouth we've only got soggy rainy bleurgh. Such a shame my chest and throat infection preclude me taking him out; that pleasure is the wife's preserve. Mind you, it may take a while to prise him from the sofa!

You just don't get this kind of joy from a cat.
Think I need to find an elderly neighbour whose dog needs a good run.
Loving the labradoodle pup.

Brace for impact!!!

It was a shame that I had put the phone away when Razzle the greyhound arrived to give chase. Kea had to put some serious speed in and finally left Razzle sprawling in the snow with a couple of sidesteps and turns

Brilliant!
Great pictures and words everyone. I've really enjoyed seeing your dogs.

Now, a confession, I started this thread knowing that I'd be able to join in. Yeah, but no..... I was due to collect a new dog today, but we got snowed in!!!!

So, new dog delayed until Tuesday. We ae well excited I can tell you.

Dogs are ace. They really are.

SB 🙂

Not mine, my brother's puppy, and not enough snow for his first time out in it, but he doesn't have too many problems with the cold:

Pablo hates the snow...

Stig (makes a cameo in the second vid) is a bit more noncommital - the snow just seems to confuse him, but then most things just seem to confuse him.

Really enjoyed seeing these pics but ended up feeling rather sad - remembering my Golden Retriever who used to break ice to go for a swim! RIP. 🙁

stratobiker - great news! Does he/she have a name? Shall look forward to the pics. 🙂

Link to a pic of Arty on Kinder Scout in the snow a couple of days ago, he loved it!

Any other Spaniel owners have the giant snow clump issue (as seen on Arty's hind legs in pic)? And if so, any solutions?

More great pictures! I never get bored seeing happy dogs.

Awh CG [big hug]. You'll get another dog one day. You can share mine if you like. I'll post some pictures when she arrives. She'll be here tomorrow evening, so pictures on Wednesday.
