was wondering what kind of car to get for when i passed my test, then the sister in law donated me her beat up old Mondeo Estate. It's brilliant, and sufficiently dented and scratched that if anyone prangs it in the tesco carpark i won't even notice, let alone care.
I have a 53 plate Nissan Primera Diesel which has a huge dent in the roof where my tiles landed during storm last year and a big dent in the rear where my wife reversed into a metal bollard and let's not forget about the rust on the doors. Two young police officers pulled me over to tell me my car had seen better days and proceeded to check all my tyres and lights which where all legal. Once they had finished I told them the bike on the roof(Giant Glory)which cost me £3000 and my Trance X1 which cost me £2000 and that I would love to own a newer car but I have to prioritize which is most important to me. They followed me for another 3 miles.
Not sure an elderly person having a nap is them not giving a toss.
