Can you see the whole of London?
Very dependent on the weather, I should think?
Viewing platform is 243m, horizon is ~55km at this height
Top is 310m, horizon is ~63km
It was a bit misty when I was up there but I'd say you can see most of London. It moves.

If it wasn't for the 'ouses in between.
On a clear night you can see all the way to the Moon, and beyond.
I could see the moon 🙂
I could see the Andromeda.
On a good day you can see most of London, on a bad day you can't even see London Bridge Station.
You can see it from Leith Hill, so guess you can see Leith Hill from it 🙂
I'm in Woking. About 26 miles or so from the Shart and I can still see.
On a clear day you can certainly see the Shard from a long way away. My office is in More London, which is just under the Shard, so I find the Shard great for navigation purposes.
Can you see over the top of crystal palace at 112m and see the North downs?
The main thing is you can't see the Shard very well.
We did some work on the roof of Guys Hospital Tower across the road, not quite as high as the viewing platform, but you can see a LONG way.
South Downs no problem from the Shard. Although it's the view of London that is interesting from that perspective.
