Copy the text then in the box above click the “ symbol and paste the text. Then press return twice.

Copy section using mouse (hold down left to highlight, then right-click to select copy), then use "b-quote" button before and after your pasted quote.

Or you can manually use the [ quote ] paste text to quote here [/quote ] tags (without the spaces)

[ quote=username ] adds the name of the person as well.

It does strange things with strong tags with user names if that bothers you

That's because this forum has the worst functionality of any I use regularly.

I know of several forums ran by individuals that have crazy nonsense like push notifications, ignore, follow, new posts etc. I mean why would you want that when you can come here and pretend it's 2003?

Seems to be some thing funny on Android where it doesn't give you the keyboard back after posting an image... I had to touch the minimise button (dunno what it is called - to the left of the home button), then bounce the forum window back up, then it gave me the keyboard again. Probably a coding fault with the forum. A bit like the one that has been around for ages where it doesn't take you to the last post when you click the link.

@drac could i add a question? I've seen reference to killfiles as a way of blocking the posts of annoying trolls. I think a new one has emerged recently and exposed themselves on here. How do i implement a killfile?

@csb it’s a third party plugin not supported by the forum it adds some functions including killfile. I don’t use it sorry.

It's just a gif, so an image file. Post as you would any image. (If you can get the .gif's url, which can be a challenge.)
