But that was just mass hysteria. edit in some kittens, maybe some baby penguins falling over, and a monkey skull ****ing a frog, then you might be in business, though the higher points of the argument will be lost.

There's phrase I like in online marketing: "Asking to make a viral video is like going into a newsagent and asking to buy a winning lottery ticket".
In short - if it's good, word will spread. "Going viral" is a symptom of something being good and appealing. If you have to try too hard, it's not going to happen.

OK, get the point. Really bored by the second video after about 20 seconds, wheras the first one I'm still working out how they fiddled it.
I spent the whole of the second video waiting for the time they got it horribly wrong and over shot.
Dissapointed.

My brother-in-law had a video go viral. He ended up making Tv appearances due to it as well. All it was was a freakish egg his chicken laid, few funny words from his kids and view figures went up into the millions, world-wide.
Nothing [i]interesting[/i] will do the same...
