As above, just C&P the link.
There was a help page?
There was definitely some instructions somewhere about posting videos and pictures.
Maybe STW should make a video about how to do it?
Sorted now.
mattoutaandabout had the answer.
It's just the share button link, pasted straight into the post. No link as such.
How do you embed Youtube video’s in posts?
Yes, but what is it that belongs to the YouTube video that you want to embed?
I've got to try and sort this out. This is using the link immediately below the video via the Share button
Well, that never worked. I seem to have a STW ad instead.
When I posted I got this message...
loaded action in here 2.5: 1 !!loaded action in here 1
EDIT AGAIN. I just refreshed and my video suddenly appears. Know idea what's going on.

There has been a critical error on this website.

Yeah, We're all getting that error at the moment. It's in the sticky issues thread at the top.
To post YouTube videos so that they appear in the forum, just copy the link address from YouTube (little button below the video)

Then, to post it in the forum, don't press the link button and paste it in there. Just paste it right into the forum reply box as is.
When you hit submit it'll appear as part of your post embedded.
If you get the error message, just reload the last page of the thread and chances are it will have worked and be there.
Just paste the video URL.
Thanks @kayak23 That's what I did but what confused me was after I'd had that "Critical Error" message I ended up with an STW advert video in my post instead of my own video.... it was only after a later refresh that my video replaced the advert video.....
But, yes, I was trying the way you describe.... but thanks again for the info/additional info about it being a known issue.
