Seen a property with cafe as part of the building. Am i right in thinking that we would have a mortgage for the house and a separate for the business? (this is 1 room and a courtyard - cafe)
WHat do you do about sorting this sort of thing out? I am clueless and though someone on here may have done this sort of thing? their is also scope to exptend the cafe into the basement of the house, what would happen here re. mortgage?
depends if it's one freehold or two.
if it's a single freehold then dual mortgages would be a problem I'd guess.
but you don't want your home/capital tied to the success of your business and have it all in the business...
