It sounds horrible on my headphones, and I can't seem to get to the equaliser settings like I can on Google Play Music.
I even tried installing an equaliser app, but they have no effect.
Is there anything I can do?

I can't get to them directly. Used to be able to it in older Android, but not any more, grr.
