I only need one so don't fancy going down the post office & paying £5 for four!
I only have Windows Live Photo Gallery & can't fathom a way to print a passport photo onto a 6x4 sheet. What (free & easy to use) download could I look at? (laptop user)
Ta.
Boots have photo printing stations in their High St stores, you can take a photo in on a memory stick / card (maybe even a phone with NFC or Bluetooth) and get a print of 4 passport sized ones for buttons.
Takes a bit of fiddling to work out how, but the assistants can help.
I think there are various sites that can help with this eg. https://www.persofoto.com/upload/
Picasa can also help with the printing
But it is a real pita even with 'proper' software
Have a search on here as its been discussed before but I can't remember when
Cheers fellas, that Persofoto looks like it should be ok!
Doesn't your printer come with software to enable you to choose what size photos you print?

Not sure about this one (Epson PX650) but I'm sure our last one did cos I seem to remember doing some 2x2 visa photos.
I was refused a home printed picture for my last passport. Apparently they can't accept digital printing.
I was sent down the corridor to use the digital printing booth at great cost.
🙄
If it's for a passport then get some done at a photo-print type place where they know the roolz.

It's for me membership card for Seaham Sea Angling Club! 😆
Print normal size but stand a very long way from the printer. Sorted 😀
I took the kids passport pics at home, cropped them to the right size and eye height etc on the computer - saved 6 of them as a 6x4 jpeg then went to Asda and used their printing machine for 49p.... but then I was bored one evening!!
Sorted! My (cleverer than me) stepson worked it out on IrfanView. Not Photobooth quality but fine for what I need.
Passport photos are compared to a template for alignment of key features and if not correct rejected. which happened to my wife which were done in photo both. Ended up going to a photographers next to the Post Office who took some more and made sure they were aligned on the template. Only cost the same as Photo Booth even though he took 3 times as many pics until both he and my wife were happy with the result.
