Single trackers are brilliant at this - need a hotel in Rome for me, and wife? for half term break in October - not a budget hotel but not the most expensive + is it easy to get from Airport??

Hotel Milani. About a 5 minute walk from the Termini (main train station) and there is a train from the airport to Termini (the Da Vinci Express).
It is nice hotel, not expensive and near to some nice places to eat.
I was recommended the

It is a hotel I have since gone on to recommend to others since.
Great location, great rooms (with Bose stereo's) nice breakfast but they can't make hot tea.

Have used campsite in Chamonix and hotel in Paris after recommendation from this forum - both were really good.
