As title, recommendations for Wife's Birthday. Hereford / Worcester / South Wales / Gloucester / Bristol / South Shropshire.
Don't want to drive more than an hour-ish from Hereford. Looked at The Malvern Spa and Bryn Meadows in Caerphilly. The spa needs to have a variety of rooms and decent pool and jacuzzi.
Any ideas?

- Peterstone Court just outside Brecon
- Nant Ddu Lodge to the south of Brecon - not sure if this fits the criteria of only an hour's drive, it's about 20 mins from Brecon.
Metropole in Llandrindod Wells. Has a certain ambiance about it. Very very good modern spa and great food. If you can stretch to a tower room it is worth the extra. Stayed there many times now and always rate it.
It is however, right in the middle of town, which is great on several levels, but may not be what you are looking for on the other hand.
