Built using DT Swiss Comp + DT Brass 14mm nipples (don't be tempted with 12mm nipples as they're a royal pain in the arse):

Front 930g
Rear 1050g

This does not includes cassette, valve, skewers etc. but does include mavic screw in eyelets.

mildred - thanks a million what a star!

no idea what nipples mine have to be honest, but very roughly the same as yours aprt from maybe the nipples

interesting i kinda new they would be quite heavy wasnt quite expecting nearly 2000gram

the mavic cross trail ones im looking at are 1650gram, so a fair chunk of saving there too...

hmmm decisions decisions

Are crosstrails UST? If not, take the innertubes into consideration when comparing weights. Also, remember that xm819's are not designed as a through & through xc rim, but all mountain. This why they're slightly wider (& heavier) than your average xc rim. Over the years I've had loads of rims/wheels from different manufacturers and te 819's have been remarkably tough.

hi mildred, thanks they are ust yeah, but ive just been talked out of it by lbs, looking more towards the stans now, they told me its just as easy to inflate ust tyres on stans as it is on ust rims so thats good enough for me 🙂

would prefer to keep the hope hubs too
