for £60 a pair (no cassette body). Too good to be true? Seller is only taking payment by bank transfer so no PayPal buyer protection available. What do.we think?
If you have to ask…. Way too cheap. It stinks of scam.
What reason does anyone have for not using PayPal? Run a mile.. or ask if you can do cash on collection (regardless of whether you can)

Are there fake hopes? More likely stolen or non existent.
Pictures seem to have been lifted from an Albanian web site.
If you look at the AliExpress link the £60 item is just a freehub. Select the hub options and it's £250.

Fair enough I wouldn’t be surprised if there are fake ones though. I bought a bar/stem-seatpost combo off AliExpress few years back(unbranded) seller asked what logos I wanted on them(Enve/Easton Zipp etc 🤷♂️

aye, of course they were. Still stolen in that case. Which HGV? Hope use FedEx or UPS. Why sell them for £60 whem they’re worth nearly £300?
EDIT - and his other advert said they were bought for a build he didn’t do. Unless that’s a cover for stolen stock as well. That bar code isn’t a Hope label, so maybe nicked from somewhere else.
6 word description on the advert? Definitely genuine from a trustworthy seller.
Hacked account maybe? Doesn’t seem like an avid selller broadly and not really a history of selling that looks dodgy
Anyone who is claiming to post stuff out but will only accept PayPal F&F or BT is scammer.

Thanks for all the replies, yes looks like a scam. There are also plenty of genuine used wheelsets with Hope Hubs on FB Marketplace and here so I'll stick to those.
