As the title really.
Test drove the 1.6 desire sr spec. Was comfy, roomy (I could sit behind myself) got 47 mpg on the mixed test drive. Think I'm going to go with the 2 wheel drive. Need the increased ground eaten r for work but never got my van stuck
Any users out there?
I owned one for 4-6 weeks.
It had what's commonly known as the creaky clutch pedal, lots of reading on it on WWW. It's often sorted by the slave being replaced, but mine was unable to be resolved. I ended up rejecting it and getting a refund.
Shame as it was a lovely lovely car.
had one it was ok, ate brake discs
got a Kia Sportage now much better
Kia Sportage now much better
New shape or older shape ?
The one I'm looking at is brand new. There are some good deals to be had with the run out model before its gets replaced. My boss has a Kia sportage. In the last 6 months he has been in the garage 4 times with it
New shape Kia, granted it has had issues with wheels and the sunroof both replaced under warranty. Kia is a much better vehicle to drive. IMHO of course. 😉
I'll check it out. I had written it off due to my bosses frequent trip to kia
My sister has a Sportage. I think it is 3 years old now. Apart from getting it repaired when she has hit stuff (bollards etc) it hasn't put a foot wrong.
Like a lot of these crossover/4x4 alike cars, I think it is Fugly. But there again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc etc.
I don't need a good looking car. In my eyes my other one does the looks thing so this is just practically
I did look at the 1.6 diesel about a year ago, as a drum transport it would have been perfect. But the monthly payments would have been too high. Even with 0% APR on a 42 month PCP, it would still have been over £350/month. No way am I spending that much on a car.
I now have a Ford Kuga (mk I) - very nice looking car, very nice driving car.Had it a month, getting 35-39mpg on mostly urban driving at the moment. Boot isn't as big as that in the CR-V, but then again, not many things are 😉
Maybe when I change the Ford, there might be some used CR-Vs around at the right price point for me
I looked at two year old ones, they are more expensive then new ones due to the run out deals..... They work out about £80 a month more
