AM i ok to use a normal dimmer switch on a set of 5 halogen (mr16) bulbs powered via a transformer? Something is nagging at me and saying no!

Also check minimum load on the dimmer. If the 5x halogen bulbs draw too little, the dimmer wont do much but turn them on and off.

how would i find out

first, find the transformer 😉

I have a dimmer switch on my kitchen/dining circuit. Found the lights blowing fairly often... Just found out I have a non-dimmable transformer
