Thunder, lightening, hail the size of marbles, chorus of car alarms... now it's sunny.

Amazing. 😀

I was about to say what's the fuss about?

It rained for about 10 minutes this morning, and its slightly breezy but the sun has been out most of the day.

NW by the way 😀

Yeah it is a bit wild! luckily we bikers wear helmets so suffer less from being pelted in the head with hail 😀

I had snow on Friday at Laggan, beautiful warm sunshine on Saturday at Morar and then snow again yesterday on the way home 🙄

Edit: Proof it was sunny...

I'm in Oxford, this doesn't happen here. Not in the last 30 years anyway.

I've been running around the street like an idiot... like a 5 yr old apparently!

We were hillwalking in Glen Lyon yesterday and had quite a range of weather while on the hill (sunny, cloudy, hail, snow) and most of the rest (heavy rain etc) while driving home.

Lovely weekend here in yorkshire. Mostly sunny. A few spots of rain earlier today, but not enough to bother getting the washing in.

Steady rumbling of thunder just passing us near Milton Keynes. It came from direction of Oxford - same storm I suppose. We're on the edge of it so just got rain and noise...

I was just driving round oxford and got caught in it. Loads of drivers not even slowing down despite the Witney bypass turning into a lake in parts.

Balls - now I'm gutted I couldn't see the Tornado. I've not been so excited as I was yesterday in a long time. Might become a storm chaser.

They called a drought summit, a jubilee, and the olympics. Short of painting on a bullseye there wasn't any more they could do to tempt fate. With Tesco selling brollies and jumpers, and the Met Office now saying that summer will be wetter and cooler than expected, what odds on severe winter flooding?

We went caravanning in Gloucestershire, managed to get the awning down in a very short time window where it wasn't hammering it down, just the odd sprinkle.

Cheeky bugger campsite owner charged us for an extra day though because we were waiting for dry.

That track is brilliant, had a bit of a heavy pack so minced some of the more exposed sections.

druidh - where you in group of about 8 bikers? Saw a group riding out of Tarbet around mid day ish

oap - twas indeed us. Great track, though the potential consequences of a slip or fall on some sections did cause some anxiety.
