Hi,

Young grandson in Paris, so trying to find any not too big, not too touristy coastal villages on N France coast eastern side, nice sandy beach, everything a walkable distance, hire facilities (canoes, sup etc), a few cafes, bars shops etc, quiet cycle tracks, bimbles etc etc enough for a chilled week with a 4 year old sort of thing.

Did the St Malo area, loved it but too built up/busy.

Cheers

Île de Batz near Roscoff? There’s a water sport hire place on the eastern side of it. Quiet roads and beaches galore
We stayed in a chalet at the water sports place with our 3 year old. Was perfect

This is a lovely little village. Not sure there's enough to occupy you for a week though, plus I think the beach is shingle. Easy enough to drive to Dieppe or west to some of the more popular places like Etretat though.
