Just broke my cheap and tinny over-ear phones - any recommendations for a replacement? Current ones were tinny with little or no base - what do you use?

Edit - by over-ear I mean the in-ear ones that hook over the outside of the ear so they don't fall off

I use Senheisser Adidas OCX 685i for running, good sound quality and a good fit, they were not cheap, but they work well for me.

Shure SE215 are great for running, bit steep mind so depends on how much you want to pay. Love mine, took a while for them to properly open up though, I nearly sent them back after a week.

I use some orange Phillips ones with a band round the back of the head. Sweatproof. Stay on.

search amazon for 'phillips earhooks' I use mine for everything and usually less than 20 quid. I have that problem that normal bud ones just will not stay in my ears!

Let us know how you get on? I've been meaning to get some for running for years; I've some AIWA ones (quiet at the back, they're ace) but they won't stay put when I'm bounding along.

The orange Phillips ones I had lasted ages, and were quite good, although they did keep popping out (I think I have very strange ear holes)

These are meant to be good http://yurbuds.com/

I've got a pair coming, so can't comment on what they are like.

Ive used a few over the years (get em free off dj buddies) I still revert back to my hidden gem tdk ones off ebay theyre 7quid and theyre the dr dre beats before the beats logo gets stamped on them look at the review and a lot of my friends are converted!!! The sound quality is better than some of my 100 quid plus in ears!!!

dont forget that if you plug your headphones into an ipod/iphone and the perspiration runs down the lead and affects your iphone it will invalidate your warranty!!

I have used over the ear ones as normal ones always fall out my right ear but gave these ago and have never had them fall out Sennheiser Adidas cx680i though I only paid £20 for mine of Amazon a few months ago.

Really wanted the Bose version but not at £240.

Not. Going. To. Happen. 🙄
Get a pair of Mee Electronics M6P's. The triple-flange eartips sit right inside the ear and can't slip out, and the cables have a wire reinforcement that bends over the top of the ear stopping them from pulling out. Dead cheap, sound fantastic, I've had three pairs for over two and a half years, mostly used at work for when I'm using noisy Machinery, (89dB), and they're excellent, can't praise them enough.

But are those TDK ones real? As in they aren't the beats ones as they are completely different?

I'm not even sure they are TDK are they?

Just a question as I'll pick some up for that price.
