Are there any high street shops that stock 35+ inch leg trousers?  I know online is an option but do any of you tall folks have a walk in shop recommendation?

Its hit and miss but - One advantage of TK Maxx is everything is grouped by size rather than style so you can see want fits you and choose the ones you like rather than see something you like then have to find out whether it comes in a size that fits you. But becuase their stock is pretty haphazard you're unlikely to find something specific if you are looking for it. Pretty much everything I've bought from there has been something I happened across and liked rather than anything I was specifically looking for. Bought my favourite ever winter coat from there on one of the hottest days in summer for instance.

I've not shopped there for a while but H&M seemed to be easy for me to find stuff in.

How difficult or easy finding the right size depends as much on your waist as your leg length though. I'm somewhere between 34 and 36 waist and typically find more 36" leg trousers with a 36"waist than a 34" waist. But go either side of those sizes and the leg lengths tend to reduce - so both 32 and 38 seem to typically come with (or be stocked as) shorter legs for some reason.

Also - don't only go off the stated sizing. I'm a 36" inside leg but I've got stuff thats labelled 33 and 34 that in practice seem to be exactly the same length as 36s.

Alternatively - you could be that guy that wears shorts all year round

Slaters menswear (Glasgow, Stirling etc).

Clothe my freakishly-sized offspring on a walk-in basis.

I asked in high and mighty a few years back.they only did something like 42" leg, then you got them shortened! They were £100 plus shortening 25 years ago.

At 6"4 I've only ever had to physically look up to two guys- both were American basket ball players. I think most people were going to have to shorten those jeans

At 6'6" I nearly always get my jeans from TK Maxx. You can generally look at the trouser bottoms, see which is closest to the floor and try them.

The tk max tip as above.

But I’ve moved to Spoke for all my trousers. Expensive, but great fit and good quality - feel like good value to me (you can choose waist, leg girth and length, and they do a 37” leg which is the stuff of dreams)
