You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Anyone used one, seem pretty interesting? The std 3G dongles I've used can be painfully slow even with full* signal. Totally skint at the moment so am trying to locate the cheapest way to get hold of one for my dad. Which maybe a £20 unit from PC World and swapping the £15.99 contract sim card for a 3 mobile £5 one off ebay with £10 credit, and ability to PAYG.
Anyone aware of any potential issues doing this?
*:Qi informed me that the signal bars are actually a misnomer.
How's their network rollout going?
no idea, but as he's based in mid Brum & would only be using it there (he doesn't want broadband) I'd assume it would be one of the more likely places they'd start rolling it out.
Seems it's "in progress".

Might be worth asking the question on that blog, or sticking details into their coverage checker.
The coverage check just says there signal, not what type.. I'll stick a question up.
Though buying the old type dongle now, for the minimal cost between the two does seem a tad silly.
