So I've just had a blood test out of curiosity on loads of things and it's all good apart from a very high cholesterol. Apparently its 6 which is high and coupled with high ish blood pressure I now feel like a ticking time bomb.
Any one managed to lower theirs? Or recipe ideas etc

*joins the club* Mine was an apparently "impressive" 8.7. Statins for me. Will be getting rechecked in another month or so. No side effects from the statins. No other risk factors tho

It's all very complicated.

Sort your blood pressure out though.

7.5 family history, 20mg atoravastatin. No side effects so happy to stay on them. Both parents on atoravastatin. BP etc fine.
