Our neighbours have their WiFi named as "Hidden Network". He is a very odd man that works in IT, so I'm guessing it's hilarious to him

I had similar as my Wi-Fi hotspot name on my phone.  It is deeply unfunny, but it amused me for about 30 seconds and I CBA to change it.

I've never come across "hidden network" (somewhat ironically), I wonder if there's an urban myth saying that if you call it that then it will actually be hidden?

A few years back, when out in the back yard I'd often hear SQUEAK-squeak SQUEAK-squeak SQUEAK-squeak like a rusty bed.  It'd go on for half an hour or more, sometimes multiple times a day.  I went from thinking "damn that boy's got some stamina" to "christ, he must be red raw."

Then one day I realised, next door but one had bought their kids a trampoline.

I’d assumed it was just a network that wasn’t broadcasting it’s SSID?

Boo to the sensible (but probably true) answer.
