err, thassit really

rather than reset my dad's wifi, I'd like to view the password as saved on my devices so that I can set up a new laptop for his house
Is it easy ?

Assuming it's not been changed from the default, it'll probably be on a sticker on the router.

Log in to the router admin panel, it'll be in settings somewhere.

Failing that, netsh wlan show profile name="(whatever the Wi-Fi SSID name is)" key=clear from a command prompt.

This is dead easy on Android:

Click on the Wifi Connection settings->internet?

Click the settings cog to the Network Details

Click share and it shows you a QR tag with the password underneath.

Thanks - got there and my devices couldn't find his network. Some barst has reset the router (prime suspect, my brother), so just used the default from the sticker 🙄
