Saw it last night; didn't much care for it. Cheesy with a side serving of very very corny dialogue. Is it just me?

Depends, have not seen it yet as it does not even appeal to me. Guess i will have to go and see it sometime tho to see what all the hype is about.

after watching it for 45 mins or so I left the missus & daughter in the cinema & went to the pub

I thought it was a pretty good film, much better than the vast majority of dross that is served up in cinema's. It also contains one of the best looking person I've in a film for a long time.
