Years ago I used to wake up at circa 4am every morning. WIDE awake not just tired/tossing and turning etc. I did something, I adjusted my evening diet and I fell fast asleep throughout again.
Now for the life in me I can't remember what I did. Anyone else had this? Its not insomnia as I sleep soundly as soon as my head hits the pillow.
Am I missing sugar? A sugar 'crash' as not eating it? I think sugar or insulin/food? is key?
Sugar is never needed, unless you've just been on a big ride or something.
Sugar will make it worse, it makes most things worse.
Go for a run before bed..
binners - new keyboard please!
Binners if I'm awake at 4am tomorrow I'm going to ring you non-stop.
Go to bed 3 hrs later.

Probably an age issue.
Old people get up early.
