I'm after a new phone as my Galaxy s2 is playing up and will cost a load to fix.

What I'm after is:

Android operating system
Replaceable battery
Reasonable camera
No more that £150-200
Edit: needs to have a light

I don't need the latest and greatest and will be buying the phone either new, or 2nd hand and will have a sim only contract.

I'm not fussed if it's a few years old and other than the above, am willing to compromise.

Ideas?

How about a brand new, top spec phone for the bottom end of your budget?

Or a Chinese Phone?

THL T6S is around £65 or there's a waterproof one, the T6 Pro, for around £80.

Does everything I want plus you can add micro SD cards and it has dual sim slots.

Cheers for the suggestions so far. Moto G and the swift both look good.

I am so out of the loop with phones I haven't got a clue.

Edit: Drat, the moto G doesn't have a replaceable battery.

Not a lot does. What about a secondhand or NOS Samsung?

Moto G 4G at £139 or so at Tescos or other outlets seems great value as my mother has one but the camera is shocking bad.

Apart from that, it does everything and everything fast, I was very impressed with her handset.

I however have been diagnosed with consumerism/hipster disease and went with the Iphone 6s. 😈

Samsung XCover 3?

Waterproof, shockproof etc and meets all your other specs.

I have the XCover 2 which is great and if on a budget it's still available. When it's on standby you just press the volume up button and the light comes on. Handy!

I've got a galaxy s4 in pretty much mint condition running lollipop I no longer need due to upgrade. back cover is brand new as I never used it and battery is a couple of months old Samsung warranty replacement I also have the genuine Samsung book type cover with window but that's a bit tatty but the reason phone is in such good condition lol. It's limited edition blue and open to all networks. Not sure what it's worth though

2nd hand

After somebody else has been breathing, coughing, sneezing, dribbling all over it - get a new one.

got a gen3 moto g, paid a bit extra for the 2Gb ram / 16G storage.
nice phone, good cameras, waterproof. Not replacable battery, but just buy an extrnal one for £15 if it bothers you.
I'm not a heavy phone user, especially when at work, but the battery comfortably lasts me 2 days, 3 at a push. That's with a couple of hours use each evening, and usual calls/txts through the day

my wife likes hers and mine arrives tomorrow I hope. Mine was 126 new from a private seller. Sadly it locked to EE but I think £8.99 will solve that

I'm not looking for something to eat my dinner off. It's a phone, perfectly capable of being cleaned before use.
