What Penrod said, shirts only, unless you are trying to impress some chick or some crap.

Life is too short to be ironing your underwear.

In the interests of full disclosure I do the ironing in our house, so I iron my boxers, but I don't iron anything of hers as she sees ANY ironing as a waste of time.

No no no!

And NO again just to be sure.

Anything but shirts is wasted bike fixing /riding time.

Depends if they're being worn at the time...

I was once ironing a shirt just before I was going out on a friday night. I'd already had a few, had some tunes playing and I was dancing like a loon whilst doing said ironing...ended up with a line burnt across the top of my leg and would have been burnt elsewhere if I hadn't my kegs on! 😳

WTF why would you waste the precious hours in the day!? I don't iron ANYTHING .. if it needs ironing then I don't buy it! super trick wash shirts on minimum iron, hang on hangar to dry, when having steamy shower on morning of wearing said item hand in bathroom .. look mint and no need to iron! Only time I iron is interview, court or wedding. But what a waste pants ... it's like ironing your bed sheets.... get a grip 😉

Top tips

Dont iron trousers naked, and apply steam! Only did it once was thrown across the room by the agonising jolt of pain coursing through my 83ll3nd!

Ironing pants, socks towels is a waste. Geez get a life.

Dawson who wears the pants in your gaff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only ever ironed trousers and shirts. Now Doris does it all. Its quite hilarious as I wanted to stay "independent" but she loves it. Love watching her iron curtains and sheets as they are just as creased when shes finished rolling them over the ironing board.

when I used to come back from Uni at Xmas my Aunty used to iron mine. They were much nicer to wear, like brand new ones not scruffy old ones.

But sadly I have more pressing things to do with my day 🙁

Its a free country, each to their own, consenting adults and all that. If the curtains are closed who's to know if you are ironing in your underwear (or being ironed in your underwear)

Good to see STW dealing with the day's pressing issues.

My underwear requirement is less "are they ironed" and more "do they still bend" TBH. Really, are you short of something to do?
