......Using Windows 7

How do you get rid of the spreadsheet gridlines (they are turned off on print/screen view) but appear on the saved PDF page ?

Use cutePDF and print to it?

Excel 2010 will let you save as a PDF.
click the office icon,
click save as
in the drop down menu at the bottom select PDF.

as soma-rich says..

you will only get grid lines if you have been colouring them in..

there should be an tab for view (I am on Excel 2007) and you should be able to uncheck the box for gridlines?

Office 2007 does this as well, but I think it's an option you have to install.

Are you sure you do not have borders on the cells?

Click the top left of the sheet to highlight the whole sheet and format it with "No border".
