Hi all
I am fretting about which dropper seatpost to stick with, I have been using a Joplin4 100mm for three years and have loved it, however recently I have noticed 125mm travel posts and even 150mm, I know everyone raves about the Reverb but is it all that ? I love the look of the KS as it has red shiny bits, I have loved the reliability of the Joplin, but am open to sensible suggestions or deals you may have to offer
i had been looking and reading reviews for ages on which dropper to get and in the end went for the 125mm reverb and i am sooooooo happy i paid the little bit extra. there is a reason they sell the most and its simply they are the best. not a single problem with mine, i went for the push lever on the handlebars which is you do alot of black runs comes in very useful for slamming it for steep dh then half for incase a litle pedalling is needed.......hope this helps
Same as above. I recently ventured into the realms of droppers and researched as you do. Ended up going for a reverb as they're so popular and it must be for a reason. Nothing to compare to but it's great, seems very well built and works a treat.
I got mine from probikeshop, they still have some deals on if you're not worried about bleed kit.

Lev has a fixed cable routing, that was a big plus for me. Reverb has a hydraulic remote. Good - no cable to get dirty & sticky. Bad - needs bleeding, very expensive to replace the remote lever if damaged.
You can probably get a Reverb a lot cheaper than a KS Lev.
Thomson is also available now.
Edit - I have 2x KS Lev.
Loving the Lev but only a few months in so far. No issues to report apart from you have to cut the cable to exactly the right length
