Hi I need to ship out my old Picasso and thinking of buying a: Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Vivaro Crew Cab
For family road trips, Bike trips etc
I was eyeing up a 2010 Vivaro and asked the seller if the outer Crew Cab seats have IsoFix.
He said No!
Is this typical or maybe the newer models have them?
Thinking of a LWB model.
Never seen any of the commercials that have it.
IIRC even the Caddy Maxi doesn't until you get the Maxi Life.
We just use child seats which are secured with the seatbelt.
Same here in my T5, and the Iveco camper and Mk1 Focus before.
Edit: This is what we use....

Was the most secure seatbelt fit we could find, and seems to fit well in any car/van we have tried, unlike some other seats. Although it was boouht a few years back so other possibly better options might be available now.
Thanks Chaps
Just spotted Ford Transit Crew Cabs are IsoFix in rear.
T5 Caravelle would be isofix too I believe (so possibly also crew cab t5's)
I've just been out to have a look at ours (13 plate LWB crew cab), no idea what I'm looking at as we've outgrown child seats. Couldn't see anything to say they were (had a fiddle around with the seats too). However, this seems to mention isofix seats vivaro userguide
Isofix seats are mentioned in the new Vivaro brochure too.
T5 Caravelle is a different beast to the crew.
Thanks for looking Hammerite.
They are little bars at the back of the seat where the horizontal meets the vertical parts.
No worries. I did have a look at a photo of what I should be looking out for, then had a fumble around the back of the seats. Didn't find anything, not even an old sweet covered in fluff or 50p - most disappointing.
there all sensible vans especially the vivaro on motorways but they are vans and the lwb are big vans.. they are not family cars.. you wont be able to use many height restricted carparks etc and the rfl is steep
i wouldnt have one as my only family vehicle unless it was essential for work the restrictions far outweigh the benifits
