You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Off on a jolly with a mate cycling across Normandy next Monday.
Ferry (Brittany Ferries) is at 10.30pm and we get back on Sunday, 15th at 1.30pm.
We were getting a lift down to Pompey but due to unforeseen circumstances that is no longer possible so I'll have to drive there. However, I have spent a couple of hours today trying to find somewhere to park and can't find anything.
Can anyone recommend somewhere to park near the ferry port, please?
Loads of residential parking in driving test land around Paulsgrove and Portchester that's a short ride from the port. Or a train stop or two back on the Waterloo line (Petersfield is 30 mins, Havant about 20, etc.)
Should be OK with a bike at that time, returning sunday might be a risk of replacement bus but by then you'll be as fit as butcher's dogs so another 20 miles will be no bother 😉
I did the same the weekend before last, use Your Parking Space as other apps seemed to have no spaces, ended up booking St John's Cathedral and seemed as safe as anywhere else. It was super easy, about 10 mins ride to the ferry along bike paths. Would use again.
5 days was something like £35.
Thanks, @crankslave. Space booked at Cascade Shopping Centre via YourParkingSpace for £33. 🙂
