Hi I'm looking to get a replacement for my worn pre 2013 brompton front chain ring but it's the type with the front chain ring brazed onto the crank. I have no interest in buying another. Now brompton do a spider crank that has changeable front ring but it is indefinitely out of stock!!
I plan to buy a new JIS bottom bracket... Can someone advise of a third party set of cranks that would work with the fold of the Brompton. There are lots of people who say they've done it but for the life of me, I can't work out what exactly they bought and whether they had to do any 'special' fitting work.
I have limited tools (live in a flat in London) so can't machine stuff etc. really appreciate anyone's input on a pair of cranks that would just work with the JIS bottom bracket.
