ok just got word that the insurance is paying out so thought i would pose the questions in my brain to the world:
first a road bike around the £5-600 mark any good cheep ideas? if i can only get low end at the price point i might go single speed?
second shall i get a new hardtail what do you reckon the best value for money speck wise for something similar to the prince but a bit lighter? 130+ travel fork preferably with travel adjust around £1600.
or should i just pimp my mk1 prince albert its been a trusted friend and i like the geometry? if i was to do this i think i would buy a complete bike and pass the bits over as this seems to make more economic sense.
any ideas welcome!!

Seriously, the Allez has a great frame with different models having the same frame but have better spec components.
Maybe have a look in the sales in Evans cycles.
Ribble have some great winter roadbikes too.
Specialzed bikes are normally pretty well specced for the dosh, so might want to check them out if you just want to swap out the parts!!! Plus the extra dosh from selling the specialized frame!
