Do you have any smaller pictures? I can almost see some detail on a couple of them.

It is indeed a very odd film. One of those that, as the credits roll, you both look at each other with a mystified look on your face and say "WTF was all that about then?"

Its good though! Strangely.

Admittedly my #3 guess was that, a complete guess, and I've not watched shutter island. G/f read the book & rated it highly, she started the film and thought it utter guff...

When I saw it at the cinema that view was expressed quite loudly by a young girl at the back.

Its good though! Strangely.

I couldn't make my mind up if it was brilliant, or actually that it was terrible, but masquerading as brilliant. I'd probably go with the latter.

That's my kind of write-up. I've made it all the way through The Unconsoled by Kazuo Ishiguro. I'm no stranger to the WTF? reaction.

Harry - I know this is probably a bit late in the day to ask, but is this technically 'cheating'?

The Unconsoled by Kazuo Ishiguro

A definite WTF? book. And also either brilliant or utter, utter rubbish. I'd err on the side of brilliant.
