Heard an indy song on 6 music yesterday and has became a bit of an earworm but I never got who it was by, or called.
I can only remeber the chorus line which went like
"I don't wanna make friends/I don't wanna hold hands..."
Any suggestions? I just have that one line going in constant repeat in my head and would like to listen to the whole song again...

Well, it was on 6 Music, so probably was 80s.
A lyric search finds this, but it can't be...
not even 6 would play that, would they?
I think it was on in the afternoon, it was just in the back ground. I've had a listen through the play listings but don't recognise it from the first 30 seconds. Its not prince, jesse j or Rick Astley.
Fairly indy / guitar based chorus, male singer, not slow or morose.
