I think it was from about four years ago?
I think they might have been a Scottish band(this might be wrong?).
Indie-ish guitar sound.
The video was a small group of random people in what looked like a town hall having spirits driven out of their bodies by the priest/holy man.

It was a damn good song and I can't find it for the life of me. Have even looked through my entire viewing history on YouTube and still can't find it.

Help pleeeease.

None of these I'm afraid.
It's starting to drive me a bit bonkers now.
Don't let the Scottish bit throw you because that probably isn't right.
I can sing it in my head but not enough to get the title of the song from it.

Unfortunately the only lyrics I think I remember are at the end of the chorus where I'm sure they sing '..dream a little dream of me'. And no, it's not the same song as the Ella Fitzgerald and Doris Day one.

There's a forum on Reddit for this exact type of request. Some nerd will nail it in three minutes

It is a very good song.
It's not Scottish.
It was performed on Jules Holland show.
Would you like clues or the answer?
Just think of the satisfaction if you work it out yourself!

Can't be, 'take me to church' is too recent, not a cover and Hozier is very much still around.

Fair point, it just feels like its been around that long to me. Mrs GD likes it, me not so much.

If you were to put a gig on in a Pentacostal church you would have a ------ ---- which would help a lot.
If you really look and go deep something would surface.

If you think above is tough I did want to post a screen shot from the video but don't have the necessary skills.

Interestingly if you Google the cast in the video you (I) can't find the name of the main female character but I recognise her from somewhere.

Only 150k views on YouTube which is a shame.

Got it. Took 3 minutes from the clues. One hint is easily looked up on Wikipedia, then you can find the band name from another clue, then quick youtube search and it's the first result.

It's pretty good, reminds me of the White Lies.

Start with the facts. Released 2010. Performed on Jools Holland.

Wiki lists all Jools Holland episodes, and who played. Look at the artist in 2010, then the

If you were to put a gig on in a Pentacostal church you would have a ------ ---- which would help a lot.

Will take you to the band. Rest is easy, look up band on You Tube.

This. I got through about 30 seconds, skipped forward a bit to see if it picked up, concluded that it didn't. 😕

P.S
I've got another one but I fear that may be impossible as the song came out about 10+ years ago and the only thing I can remember is that the video was set in a mental hospital.
The group reminded me a bit of Earl Brutus though I have no idea why?
Don't want to get moaned at on here so I'll try and solve that one myself...........unless anyone has a spare five minutes?
