In typical STW style i am going for something not on your list.

Bottom ones in gun metal grey. 🙂

oddly enough that bottom one is listed as "Silver grey" so maybe the photo doesnt do it justice.

grey or black then

I like the top ones. Remind me of the wheels on my first ever car

Black is the colour you want

My vote goes for the second ones in black. Nothing says classy Land Rover gent like seven triangular holes in each wheel.

no its a poncy faux x 4
(freelander)

Running AT2s on the OEM alloys, want to put them on steels and some bog standard road tyres on the alloys for spring-autumn.

BTW - 7" or 8" wide?

does it matter if I already have tyres - will they fit on either rim?

The first in black, If the original wheels are 7" wide they would stretch onto an 8" no problem. What is the tyre profile?

Black modulars get my vote.

width does matter to both the tyre you have and the clearance in the wheel arch. Get as close to your existing alloys as you can (thats the easy option)

If you can see what colour your wheels are, you're using your Land Rover wrong. Have you considered a Fiesta?

Standard Landy steel wheels, in white, obviously.

Those above look like they belong on a Fast Show sketch.
😉

And please, no checkerplate!

Edit: Sorry, just read that it's a Freelander.
Go for whatever looks best on the back of a recovery truck.

Hmmm, checkerplate on the bonnet anyone? 😉

Now LET'S SOFTROAD!

I didn't think you could get 8 spokes with the freelander bolt pattern, I've only seen them in the defender pattern.

A silver LR needs black wheels, preferably in matt finish. I like the first choice.

Rockplough - those Suzuki's are ace. Better built than a Landrover too.

Might have to change plan anyway - there's no such thing as steel wheels for Freelanders 2004 model. 🙁

might just have to buy up OEM alloys off eBay and use them. Or just sod it and leave the AT2s on all year round. Theyre not too bad on the road, and they sure as hell dont cost enough extra diesel to justify 4x alloys & tyres....
