Need to get to Antwerp for a family reunion at the end of July. Looking for the cheapest option. Bus ,train or automobile. Live near Ipswich. Would consider flying from Stanstead or Norwich airport.

chunnel or ferry and drive, it's about 3 hours the other side on v good roads
Eurostar it, I use it and the ticket is valid for internal travel to all Belgian stations.
cheapest is probably ferry with Norfolk line or maybe Sea France (good deals right now).
I don't know how it compares, but VLM fly from London City to Antwerp & it can be quite reasonable. Probably not as cheap as driving/ferry though.
We flew to Schipol (from Edinburgh) then got the train from there to Antwerp for last year's Groezrock. It was cheap. And Antwerp's train station is phenomenal!
I agree about the train station in Antwerp - fantastic place. I watched the world track champs there once and arrived by train. Great city too.
