heres one for you then 🙂

believe it or not, ive been asked to come on my 'cycling forum' to get some help, as i 'always seem to know someone with the answers' 🙂 famous eh?

anyways, my parents are living out in thailand, and have a noisy air conditioning unit, and have pinpointed a failed bearing. the only info my dad can give me is......... "As best I can tell it is 22mm O/D x 7mm wide and fits onto a shaft 8mm dia. The only markings on it are 608Z and then either 5X or SX. it is an enclosed bearing with a shield on one side. I cannot tell whether it is a roller or a ball bearing. Believe it or not I have not been able to find a Micrometer on the island to do any accurate measuring."

so...... anyone going to restore his faith in stw? 🙂

cheers

Here is a picture of a bear ring. Yes, it is hard to find, but it will be under all that fur somewhere, good luck
