We’re stuck, trying to find a place to go in Europe next year. Needs to be ‘sit out in the evening’ warm.

looking for a place with restaurants and bars and something for adults to do but driving distance from a water park.

we stayed in Crete this year, very enjoyable but a pain to get around.

looking at Mallorca, Seville, Alicante.

Any suggestions for Southern France? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cheers,

James

Algarve is a pretty solid option. Ticks all the boxes and has several waterparks. It tends to follow that pretty much anywhere with a generally warm climate is both sit out in the evening warm, and has waterparks. 🙂 (Meant to be a smiley there but don't know how to put one in!)

Center Parcs says hi, but going in peak summer your wallet says bye. 😉

Loads of water parks on the Costa Blanca. There's one in Madrid too, but I'm guessing you're looking for a beach holiday.

I'd avoid Seville in summer.

went there lots when my kids were young. The red zone is nearest the beach so less hassle with carrying stuff.

Cap d agde in Southern France.
It has got aqualand, but gets very busy.
Lots of bars, restaurants.

Some really nice campsites in marseillan and vias plage. Those resorts are quieter than cap d agde but only 10 minutes drive away.

Menorca, there's 3 water parks and if you're driving you could visit easily them all as the island's not too big and has decent roads.

A bit leftfield of the usual, how about Brandenburg?

https://www.tropical-islands.de/germany/water-park-berlin/

Our amazing Tropical Sauna & Spa has no less than seven different areas spread over a 10,000 square metres site at the edge of the rainforest. Enjoy a truly unique spa experience.

Ever since the beginning of time, people have been longing to fly. Now you can make the dream come true – with a breathtaking ride in a Tropical Islands free-floating balloon.
Our traditional free-floating balloon has enough room for the whole family and takes you on a journey across Tropical Islands at a height of around 15 metres.

The 27 metre high waterslide tower at Tropical Islands is great fun for the entire family. It has four different water slides, ranging from a leisurely family slide to a high-speed turbo slide reaching speeds of up to 70 km/h!

Did I mention that's just the indoor stuff? Handy things zeppelin hangers...

Tenerife has Siam Park, voted best water park by Trip Advisor for a few years running now. They also do night opening in summer which is a bit different.
