You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I am a Luddite, and my in house tech support is away at uni
Got a Galaxy A21, that us warning me that it's internal storage is 95% full.
It shows me a handy breakdown which shows that of the 32GB of storage, 9.5GB is being taken up by "System" and 19GB is "Other" but I can't see a way of drilling down to see what they are and what I can clear out.
Any ideas?
(Turning it off and on again didn't work)
Dunno about Samsung's version of Android, but on the Motorola version, I go to 'settings', 'storage', 'free up space'. I suspect yours will have something similar.
Get rid of unused apps, back up pics/ vid to cloud storage (I use Google one but Samsung will have an alternative no doubt) then delete them. Make sure they are backed up fittest, it can take a long while!
Those 2 things take up the bulk of your storage, apps and multimedia.
Cleaning up other stuff doesn't free up much memory but you can still do it.
Deleting the 650Mb or so of stored data this website dumps on your phone will be a good start. It'll start dumping it all back on again straight away but for a golden moment you'll have a semblance of control.
If your anything like me - check whatsapp first (Whatsapp, Settings, Storage&data, Manage storage...) Literal Gigabytes of nonsense, memes, gifs, video clips etc...
And make sure your camera is saving things to your removable storage, not the phone itself.
