Had a big scare this week, got knocked out for a couple of mins this week after hitting a submerged kerb, whilst out on ride with friends. Completely destroyed my Grio Rift crash hat (Saved my life I think!). Should I upgrade my helmet or get the same type again?
I would say the Rift has proved it's worth.

Have Giro got a crash replacement thing? I know specialized have.
If you found the Giro comfy, no reason not to get the same again, but you could go for a higher model, usually they get more comfortable and lighter. They're all pretty much as safe as each other.
Yes they do have a crash replacement, only like for like tho, was thinking of upgrading a bit.
Upgrade you helmet? What to a full face? A motorbike helmet? More expensive helmets don't offer more protection. If your old helmet fitted you head then replace with something similar in shape.
