Step dad just gone into ICU with Kidney failure, and after being diagnosed with heart failure a couple of months ago and spending a week in ICU then too.
Ive read what I can find on the web, but anyone with personal experience who could shed some light on what happened to them/someone they know would be more helpful, I think!
What is his future likely to be like, is there one?
I know the best answers will be from the doc, but I just want to hear peoples experiences, it might help me

Hope he gets well, his BP could be crucial, my mams BP dropped steadily after being taken in and being described as having kidney problems following suspected heart failure in Nov. They may put him on a filter machine to help do the work of the kidneys but his BP needs to be steady to help drive the filter machine (dialysis(sp?)
