You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
In a couple of weeks I'm breaking out of the studio and heading north with camera bag for a few days travelling. I'm planning on 3 nights in Edinburgh and wonder if anyone can advise on a reasonable city hotel or B&B at the start of November. Travelling by train so don't want to be too far off to one side of town.
Thanks for any advice.
24 Royal Terrace is nice - https://www.visitscotland.com/info/accommodation/24-royal-terrace-p1182451
Check out Old Town Chambers.
They're self catered apartments and might be on the pricey side, but super close to train station. Quite unique spot as well, they incorporate a lot of the famous closes and tenements above the Royal Mile.
I got invited to a fancy party there a while back, feel a I should sing their praises a little! 😉
Thanks. Royal Terrace looks ace.
A pal of mine owns 53 Frederick Street, perfect central location.
Stayed here a while back, it was a great hotel with a proper pub and Tunnocks Tea Cakes in the room every day!

Grassmarket is a nice hotel, great location. One issue to watch is the noise from the live music in the Irish pub directly below some rooms.
Not an issue if you will be out until after midnight every night of course. I'd go back but I'd book by phone rather than online and specify a room on an upper floor.
