Any good? Got switch over in feb, and have old twin tuner humax at present. Wondering if anyone has the new one?
I've got the Foxsat recorder, and it is very nice indeed- easy to use and no shortage of handy features. The quality seems good on my moderately sized 4 year old TV.
If you search for it there are people adding all sorts of interesting extra features to the boxes - fairly simply you can for instance add an FTP server so that you can connect to the box over your home network, or even from anywhere in the world to download recordings.
So is that essentisll y the sane device except freesat instead of freeview?
I think the freeview t2 is better actually. I've got the freesatbox and it is good, but it's a bit behind the game these days. The freeview box is a bit better I believe.
I wish they'd hurry up and release a new freesat box.
